Hey just tell us when you arrive and when you leave, and we will give you a free lift to the airport or station and back. The shuttle service is available on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Limited capacity, so first come first served.

2. Directions
To the convcention hotel:

Station: S+U Schönhauser Alle
S-Bahn lines S41 and S42 (the "Ring"), S8, S85, U-Bahn line U2.
- S-Bahn: get off the S-Bahn station, cross the street and walk down to the right (Northward) to house number 103.
- U-Bahn: you are also on the right street already, walk like described for S-Bahn, to house number 103.

Tegel (TXL):
Bus TXL to Alexanderplatz. Change for subway U2 to Schönhauser Alle.
Time: 30min. Ticket: single ticket AB or day pass AB.
Schönefeld (SFX):
S-Bahn S9 to Treptower Park. Change for S-Bahn S41, S8 or S85 to Schönhauser Allee.
Or: take a regional train (RE) to Berlin Ostbahnhof, and then change for S-Bahn like above.
Time: 60min. Ticket: single ticket AB or day pass AB.
Berlin main station (Hauptbahnhof):
Take any S-Bahn to Alexanderplatz. Change for subway U2 to Schönhauser Alle.
Time: 20min. Ticket: single ticket AB or day pass AB.

4. Public Transportation
Berlin has one big system including these means of travel:
S-Bahn (city train)
U-Bahn
Bus / Metrobus
Tram / Metrotram
Bahn (regional trains: RE, RB)
(Metro means it's actually the same but with a chic orange M ;-). ) With every ticket you buy you can use them all.
SOME TICKETS HAVE TO BE VALIDATED: stick them in the RED BOX unless they already have a date and a time printed on them. When it makes "pling" you are fine ;-)

a. Single ticket. Valid for 2 hours. You may change connections and interrupt the journey, but you may not change the direction (no round trip). Take this for your trip from the airport to the hotel, or from the hostel to the convention etc.
AB (Berlin, including all airports): 2,10 EUR
ABC (Berlin including hinterland, whole city of Potsdam): 2,60 EUR
b. Day Pass. Valid for the rest of the day until 3:00 o'clock in the night.
AB: 5,80 EUR
ABC: 6,00 EUR
c. WelcomeCard 48h / 72h: valid for 2 or 3 days. Comes along with coupons and discounts on many touristic attractions. If you buy it at a vending machine then you get the coupons at a BVG service station.

Here you can buy tickets:
- at the airport (BVG desk)
- ticket vending machine at every station
- ticket vending machine inside trams (no 7-day-passes)
- from bus drivers (no 7-day-passes)
Do not enter a train/tram/S-Bahn/subway without a ticket! It costs 40 EUR.
